Project Info

Foodtober is a personal project I created in October 2024. For 31 days straight, I made one food-themed drawing each day using acrylic markers on paper — a small return to analog after a long time. The prompts were generated with AI at the beginning of the month, and I followed them one by one as a creative guide. The process was playful, a bit messy, and deeply satisfying — like a visual diary of meals and memories.

Here are some of my drawings from the Foodtober series. Some were inspired by what I actually ate that day, others by what I wished I had eaten. The prompts became a playful framework — but the real fun came from noticing food differently: paying attention to ingredients, cravings, colors, and memories. This project gave me a new way to look at what I eat and how I relate to food — and turned out to be a surprisingly thoughtful experience.

I turned 12 of my favorite Foodtober drawings into a 2025 calendar — a little way to bring those hand-drawn food moments into everyday life. You can find it on my Etsy if you’d like one!
